2.3.2 A notice pursuant to subsection 2.3.1 is considered a notice of opening collective bargaining in accordance with section 59, paragraph 1, of the labour code. b) TEBA and the association may agree to proceed with an arbitration board composed of a single arbitrator instead of a three-member arbitration board. In this case, TEBA and the association will appoint a person who will serve as a single arbitrator within 15 days of operation, in accordance with the agreement reached with a single arbitrator. If it is not possible to agree on the person as a single arbitrator, each party may request in writing that the Director of Mediation Services indicate the required appointment. 14.3.1 Absence despite reasonable efforts when the teacher is unable to travel to his school from his or her usual place of residence due to bad weather, impassable road conditions or the failure of other means of transportation other than his own. 4.6.1.2 Notwithstanding paragraph 4.6.1.1, the school court appoints substitute headteachers to schools where ten or more ETP teachers (excluding the principal) work. 12.1 Leave for at least half a day (1/2) for personal reasons, the superintendent may grant up to two (2) days per school year. Full-wage holidays minus 45 percent (45%) grants the daily allowance for a certified replacement in accordance with point 5.1.1 for each day of that leave. Requests for leave under this clause should not be used to extend the Christmas break, spring break, long weekends or summer holidays. Unused leave can accumulate from year to year, provided that the total available leave does not exceed four (4) days in a school year.

Part-time teachers are entitled to personal leave of up to two (2) days in an amount per day corresponding to their part-time status. Teachers on fixed-term contracts are entitled to personal leave equal to the duration of their contract over the entire school year, which is doubled (2). 14.6.1 days during which school court closes the school for health and safety reasons or because of physical failure. The school court may require the school administrator to remain on site for the normal duration of schooling during these closures. 2.5.2 If a strike or lockout begins during the central negotiations, the continuation of the collective agreement is suspended until an agreement on essential conditions is ratified in accordance with Section 11(4) PECBA or the central conditions are otherwise settled. (a) A relevant school court corrects any non-compliance with the collective agreement. 2.2.2 In the absence of an agreement, the matter is decided by arbitration at the end of the PECBA. 6.1 ETP DEFINITION: From September 1, 2017, the part-time teacher VZ will be determined by the ratio of the teacher`s effective annual teaching time to the teaching time of a full-time job at the teachers` school. This ETP is used to calculate the proportional part of the teacher`s time.
